We can do better.

We are Republicans, Independents, & Democrats who have decided we can do better than Lauren Boebert.

Boebert’s time in office has been unusual, even among modern politicians.

Inexplicable pay raises for her family beginning in 2019 and suspicious use of donors’ money. Shameless self-promotion and more time spent tweeting than doing the job. Too many votes against our veterans and children here back home. And some strange votes that definitely made Vladimir Putin happy. All this from someone who was kicked out of a bowling alley after some explicit show-and-tell.

Representative Lauren Boebert

Since winning office in 2020, Lauren Boebert has introduced at least 32 bills. Not a single one has won passage, despite dozens of bipartisan bills succeeding in the same timeframe. Boebert - or whoever writes her bills for her - has chosen to focus on divisive culture war issues that cater to a narrow segment of her base back home. We currently have nothing to show for her $174,000 yearly salary.

Boebert has cast numerous strange votes recently, including:

  • AGAINST H.R.7688 - Consumer Fuel Price Gouging Prevention Act

  • AGAINST S.4089 - Veterans Rapid Retraining Assistance Program Restoration and Recovery Act of 2022

  • AGAINST H.R.6943 - Public Safety Officer Support Act of 2022

  • AGAINST H.R.7791 - Access to Baby Formula Act of 2022

  • AGAINST H.R.7691 - Additional Ukraine Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2022

  • AGAINST HR 3967, the bill expanding medical benefits to soldiers exposed to toxic burn pits

Boebert has made national headlines by joining Marjorie Taylor Greene in disrupting the State of the Union as the President spoke about his dead veteran son, making up a story about making racist jokes to MN Rep. Omar that never actually happened, and giving unusual late-night tours of the capital just before the Jan 6 insurrection.

We have another choice in 2022.

State Senator Don Coram, one of Colorado’s most respected public servants of any party, is stepping up to challenge Boebert in the Republican Primary.

Meet
Don
Coram

Don Coram grew up in the rural part of Montrose County on a family property nearly 100 years old. Don worked for decades running cattle with his family and building a farm services business. Don answered the call to local public service, serving in unpaid positions on local boards including the School Board. In 2010, Don ran for the State House, where he served with distinction for six years before winning election to the State Senate in 2016. Coram is one of Colorado’s most prolific legislators, regularly initiating and passing more bills than most of Colorado’s 100 member state legislature. In recent years, Coram has lead on actual solutions for our lives, including:

  • Bringing rural broadband to tens of thousands of Western Slope families and businesses

  • Reducing health insurance, prescription medicine, and childcare costs

  • Growing Western Slope agriculture jobs, from giving small ranchers tools to compete with big monopolies to encouraging water-efficient food production

  • Creating revolving loan funds for Western Slope small business capital improvements

  • Reducing teen pregnancies in Colorado by over 50%

  • Growing Western Colorado area technical colleges for good-paying trades jobs

  • Creating a more reliable and secure electric grid

  • Passing more bills than any other legislator to protect our water from drought, waste, and speculators.

What can I do?

I am an Independent

In 2018, Colorado voters passed Amendments Y and Z, giving unaffiliated voters the power to pick one party primary to vote in. If you’re an unaffiliated voter, you’ll receive mail ballots for both major parties in June. Select the Republican ballot and choose between Boebert and Sen. Don Coram. You cannot vote in both party primaries - just one. Make sure you’re actively registered at your correct address. Ballots mail June 6 and are due back June 28. Talk to your Republican and unaffiliated friends.

I am a Democrat

The 3rd Congressional district got a new map in 2022. The current district leans 9% Republican. It is extremely rare for a Democratic candidate to win such a district in a mid-term election, when Republicans commonly enjoy greater turnout.

Our team is working around the clock to directly contact voters and talk about the difference between what Don Coram and Lauren Boebert have done for their lives.

I am a Republican

Registered Republicans can vote in the Republican Primary this June and choose between Boebert and Sen. Don Coram. Ballots mail June 6 and are due back June 28. Make sure you’re registered to vote at your correct address. Talk to your Republican friends.

We can come together to prove that Colorado is Better Than Boebert.

Our team is working around the clock to directly contact voters and talk about the difference between what Don Coram and Lauren Boebert have done for their lives.

We can’t get this done without your support.
